Plumb Alley

This week Ezra Creek travels to beautiful Abingdon, Virginia for the Plumb Alley Memorial Day Festival. I think we need to leave around 5:30 am to get there for set-up. Oh well, if I have to get up early I would rather go to a show than to work at my regular job. I’m hoping the weather is good. Cloudy is fine, but rain is no good. Cloudy actually helps the candles and soap. Right now they are calling for 30% chance of rain, but that has changed each time I see a forecast.

This will be our fourth show this year. We’ve gotten off to a rocky start, but I know that will get better. For those who saw our product early last year will be surprised how much better it looks this year. Both Chris and I have many ideas on expanding and improving our product line. Andi will also be selling her yo-yo balloons at some events.

I can’t wait to have more time to work on candles and our other stuff. I also like talking to people at our events and inspiring some to step out and do their own thing. God has given us all gifts and talents. We need to use them and not let them go to waste! To God be the glory!

Have a wonderful and safe Memorial Day weekend!

Hello! We are Chris, Gina, and Andi Carter, and we make up Ezra Creek. In 2008, we had the idea of buying candles, lotion, and other items to sell in a permanent flea market setting. We quickly learned that our customers wanted products made by us. So we started researching how to make soy candles and lotion, suppliers, and how to set up at craft shows. In the spring of 2009 we set up at our first craft show. It was a beautiful day, plus it was our wedding anniversary. The response to our own products was wonderful, and we were hooked. Now we make soy candles and various bath and body products. Last fall we hooked up with Stone Alley hosting for our website. We want to thank all of our craft show customers, and we are happy to now share our products online. We're glad you stopped by!
